Whistling while you work: a satisfying match to a new career

At Key Corporate Services, we are in the business of matching candidates with employers in new, exciting careers. Frankly, we can’t think of anything worse than being stuck in a job you hate. Self-fulfillment in your job is certainly important. In fact, it was rated as the number one reason people change careers by TotalJobs.com.

Everyone knows how hard it is to get along with others when there’s a personality clash, so imagine how hard it is to be happy in a career that does the same thing. Similar to when you’re looking for a mate, you want to find a career that complements your character, not conflicts with it.

That’s why we have developed our own behavioral interview process. You see, we’ve found that the “right” match of a candidate to employer involves not only finding someone who has the skills to do the job, but also matching the job to the needs of the candidate. It is a balanced equation. Thus, we work closely with employers to understand what key behaviors they feel are going to be the “best match” for success in that job.

While we can’t guarantee that the match will always result in a lifetime of happiness in a new career, you just may become one of those people who whistle while you work.
